2. What this site processes
Your privacy choice
The site stores a small record named obd_privacy_consent in your browser's local storage. It records the policy version, whether you allowed analytics, that marketing remains disabled, and the date of your choice. It stays on your device until you change the choice, clear browser data, or the site replaces it with a newer consent version.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is completely blocked until you actively allow analytics. If allowed, it may process a random browser identifier, session and interaction information, browser and device details, and approximate location. We measure page visits and anonymous interactions such as reaching the contribution section, selecting a payment method, and sharing the site.
We do not send names, email addresses, payment details, dream submissions or completed-contribution information to Google Analytics. Google Signals, Google Ads and advertising personalization are not used.

Event-level data in our GA4 property is configured for 14 months. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer; the site will disable Analytics and attempt to remove its cookies.
Wall of Dreamers submissions
If you choose to submit a name or dream, the site opens your own email application with the message prepared. Nothing is sent until you press send in that application. We receive the email address visible to us through your message, the name you provide, and the optional dream text. Only the approved name and dream are intended for publication; your email address is not published.
Unpublished submissions are deleted when no longer needed for review, with a target of no more than 90 days. Published names and dreams remain until the wall is retired or you ask us to remove them.
Contributions and payment providers
Card and payment-account details are not entered on this website. PayPal and Revolut open on their own services and process information under their own privacy terms. A bank transfer is processed by the relevant banks. We may receive transaction information such as the contributor's name, amount, reference and contact information supplied by the provider.
Transaction records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to confirm the contribution, resolve disputes, protect against fraud and meet applicable financial, accounting or legal obligations.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, request details, device information and security signals to deliver the site, maintain performance and protect it from abuse. We do not operate user accounts and do not sell personal data.
3. Why the data is processed
- Consent: optional Google Analytics and the publication of an approved name or dream.
- Your request: reviewing a dream submission or processing a contribution you initiate.
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing and improving the site without overriding your rights.
- Legal obligations: keeping records when applicable law requires it.
4. Service providers and international processing
Depending on what you choose to use, personal data may be processed by Google Analytics, Cloudflare, our email provider, PayPal, Revolut and participating banks. Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards described in their own privacy documentation.
5. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data relating to you. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send a request to dreambig@onebilliondream.com. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you. You also have the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or another competent supervisory authority.
6. Security and changes
We use HTTPS, restrictive browser security rules, limited third-party connections and consent-based Analytics. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we review the site's protections as it develops.
When the way this site handles data changes, this policy must be reviewed and updated before or together with that change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
